Automotive Software Development have been founded by Steven Renes and Paul Castelein in 2004. They started as a two man company and increased rapidly to 5 employees to start building a solid R&D department.
Automotive Software Development headquarters is  based in Utrecht, The Netherlands. European Ziptunig workshops are located in the following areas: Groningen, Belgium-Evergem, France-Paris and a number of small dealers located all over the world. There are over 25 employees working for Automotive Software Development.

Its all in the software, Automotive Software Development develops 2 product lines: Ziptuning^® and Eco Performance. Ziptuning^® has been developed to gain power of consumer cars engines while Eco Performance has been developed for saving fuel consumption of heavy truck engines. Both these formats are very successful.
